My Bad

I made the mistake of announcing, "I'm taking down the Christmas tree"



My 7 yo instantly went into tears and gave me a list of reasons why "we can't take it down and put it out in the cold shed for a whole year by itself"



Seriously...the drama.

Happy First Friday 2009!

Well, I guess I'll be taking down the Christmas tree today, and I'm definitely going to take a nap. I've been up since 5:58am, on my day off...plus I was vacuuming at 7am and that just isn't right. So, I will be treating myself with a nap, lets say, right after lunch. The house should be straight by then.

Since the den is going to be less crowded, I am planning on putting up my craft table and cutting out some fun-ness either tonight or in the morning. This is like a light at the end of the tunnel and the thought of it will get me through the after Holiday cleaning.

Also, ECU is playing some important football game today in TN, I may tune into that if I can find it on tv. I can cut fabric and watch football...naaaah, I'm nappin...

I am hoping to get some listed this weekend...once I get off here, go to Micheal's to use my 40% off coupon (yay me), stop by Little Ceasars for a cheap $5 pizza for the kids, maybe...maybe, stop into Hancock's (not sure I have enough self control), and then I'll try to cut out some owls :)

Ornaments... going, going, almost gone

Three of my ornaments are on their way to Hawaii for the Holidays... I must admit, I am very envious! One more will be shipped out on Monday to Minnesota, I wouldn't mind seeing Minnesota. SkullShie's are lucky and live fabulous lives...
